Entries for the 2014 Class 37 RNA Paddock to Palate Competition close on Friday 14 February 2014.

Don’t miss out on your chance to win Australia’s richest first prize for any single Prime Beef Competition in Australia of $5,000.

For the first time this year, the Beef Committee is excited to announce that Class 37 will be included in the Bayer Animal Health High Point Achiever Award. Points for Class 37 will be awarded to the first twelve overall placegetters.

The Bayer Animal Health High Point Achiever Award is open to exhibitors entering cattle in both the Stud Beef Cattle section and the Prime Beef and/or Led Steer section. To be eligible for this award, an exhibitor must score points in both Stud Beef and Prime Beef and/or Led Steer sections.

The award will be judged on the basis of points awarded as follows:

Stud Beef Section – A & B Category Breeds

Champion of Champions 2 points
Grand Champion 2 points
Champion 3 points
Reserve Champion 2 points
First in Class 3 points
Second in Class 2 points

Stud Beef Section – C & D Category Breeds

Champion of Champions 2 points
Grand Champion 2 points
Champion 3 points
Reserve Champion 2 points
First in Class 3 points

Stud Beef Section – Small Breeds Stud Cattle A & B Category Breeds

Champion of Champions 1 point
Grand Champion 3 points
Champion 3 points
Reserve Champion 2 points
First in Class 3 points
Second in Class 2 points

Stud Beef Section – Small Breeds Stud Cattle A & B Category Breeds

Champion of Champions 1 point
Grand Champion 2 points

Eleventh place 2 points
Twelfth place 1 point

NB: Points are cumulative
(ie: The winner of a class, Championship and Grand Champion would obtain 3+3+2= 8 points)
